Brownies, Boots & Bubbly
On
Tuesday The Giant Shoe Tour landed on the doorstep of business hub Eagle Tower. Business
spectators peered out of their window as the shoe was put into place. Alongside
The Giant Shoe, Cheltenham Fashion Week brownies were handed out to the
hardworking, hungry businessmen and women emblazoned with our motto ‘You don’t
have to be a size 0 to love fashion!’ Judging by our empty trays, Eagle Tower
definitely agrees!
Cotswold Style team also popped out into the sunshine to be snapped with The Cheltenham Fashion Week Giant Shoe.
Being
a fashion fanatic, when CFW Creative Director, Sam Bawden arrived wearing the most fabulous pair of snakeskin
ankle boots I just had to find out where they were from. £100 down to £15 at
Topshop, what a steal!
‘You
don’t have to be a size 0 to love fashion!’ Our scrumptious Cheltenham Fashion Week brownies were generously donated by the fabulous 7a Coffee Shop. Based in
the heart of my hometown of Fairford and run by Team Family Morris, the vibrant coffee shop offers a
delicious menu of light lunches, gourmet coffee and of course their world
famous handmade brownies! Locally they are somewhat of an institution - utter the words
‘7a Brownie’ to any Fairford resident and you are sure to receive resounding
adoration for the gooey, chocolaty treat. But these are not just any brownies,
these are 7a brownies, and unlike any other brownie on the market they do not
stop with the traditional white-choc-chip filling. Having worked in the shop
throughout my teenage years, I have seen every brownie combination imaginable –
from cream cheese to foam banana. If this hasn’t tempted you enough check out
their website, Twitter and Facebook pages. Or pop into the shop and you are
sure to be welcomed warmly by shop owners and coffee couple Lizzie & Simon.
Also
this week, Tivoli Wines played host to an Indulgence by Stuart Holmes wine
tasting evening. As the official hair providers of Cheltenham Fashion Week,
Stuart Holmes Hair and Beauty Spa are now offering their loyal customers
delicious treats, rewards and surprises as part of the reward scheme. Tivoli Wines are the latest to join the scheme offering Stuart Holmes customers 10%
discount. Pop into the Tivoli Wines store on the Andover Road for anything from
a bottle of bubbly to some of the best wine advice around from Tracey and Tina.
What more encouragement does one need to pop a cork?
